The slightly built Fulham and England striker was born on this day in 1981. He has won 8 caps for England, the most recent coming in 2007. He began his career at Birmingham City, moving to Crystal Palace in 2002. There he made his name, scoring 74 league goals in 140 games. Following Palace's failure to return to the top-flight after relegation, he moved to Everton in 2006, and two years later again to Fulham, where injury has limited his playing time.
